Stephen Barnes, DDS
I love this profession because it enables me to take problems and solve them. Working with my staff is fun and exciting. We have a great time working with and building relationships with our patients.
Education and Continuing Education
For my education, I earned my B.A. in History from CSU Sacramento and my D.D.S. from Loma Linda University. I also actively pursue my continuing education through the Zimmer Implant Institute for advanced implant surgical techniques, and have taken courses in the Arrowhead Dental Education for full mouth reconstruction and implants. I am Invisalign certified, MIDI certified, and active in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.) to treat fearful patients.
In the Practice
I love taking a dental problem and fixing it. Dentistry is an art, and I find I can express myself through my work. I enjoy being able to make a difference for my patients, and helping them keep their smiles for life! I also love getting to know my patients and learning about the things that they love and cherish.
In our practice, the team prides themselves in providing the best care we can for our patients. Each team member has a particular strength, and working together allows us to offer the best treatment. We all get along very well, and we love to chat about our animals and children.
I am originally from Carmichael, CA, and love living in Sacramento. My wife is Dr. Annie Ngo Barnes, and we have a baby boy, three Pekingese dogs, and two Mini Rex rabbits. When I’m not in the office, I am a competitive bodybuilder! I also enjoy going on road trips with my family, and watching sports and history programs on television.
