Dr. Richard S. Fife began his university career at Brigham Young University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Math. Upon completion, he moved back to his hometown of Sacramento where he accepted a position as a chemist at Aerojet General Corporation's solid rocket propellent plant.
Dr. Fife later moved to San Francisco to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon completion Dr. Fife returned to Sacramento and began his dental practice. Eventually, his son Steven, also an alumnus of UOP, joined practice.
Throughout his years in practice, Dr. Fife has attended numerous continuing education classes leading him at one point to be named as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the Sacramento District Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Fife has a passion for excellence in dentistry and his patients love him because of the touch of his "gentle hands." His hobbies include jogging, bicycling, outdoor activities of all kinds, and playing the harmonica and piano.
